Hours: 42 hours per week, 8pm to 8am on a rolling rota basis

As a not-for-profit housing association, we provide homes and services to over 16,000 people across Greater Manchester. We build affordable new homes, work with partners to reduce homelessness and support people to reach their potential.

This role will help us to do this by working as part of a team within supported housing and outreach services in Greater Manchester, providing high quality, personalised housing related support to adult clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • Maintaining the safety and security of all residents within the building throughout the night, together with general administrative work and light cleaning duties.

  • To follow policies and procedures set out to ensure the personal safety of residents such as missing from home procedures and to alert appropriate authorities.

  • Provide clerical and administrative support for the scheme whilst ensuring that the main office is secure at all times

  • Carry out light cleaning duties

We need people who are / have

  • Experience of working with young people and vulnerable adults with complex support needs.

  • Experience of working with members of the public

  • Experience of carrying out recording/checking tasks and other clerical work  

Due to the nature of the role the ability to work shifts including evenings and some weekends and bank holidays.
