Full Time
35 hours per week, with services operating between 7:45am and 8:10pm, Monday to Sunday. Worked on a shift rota including 1 weekend in every 5 weeks. Shifts are either 7:45am to 3:15pm (Early) or 12:10pm to 8:10pm (Late), No sleep-in duties are required.
Part Time
21 hours per week covering late shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sundays (12:10pm – 8:10pm) No sleep-in duties are required

This role will help us achieve our ambition by working as part of a team within a supported housing service in Trafford, Greater Manchester, providing high quality, personalised housing related support to young customers aged 16 to 25 years old.
In this role, you will be responsible for
Supporting and promoting young people aged 16 to 25 to access and actively engage in meaningful activities.
Providing administrative support to the project team.
Using a person-centred approach to enable customers to build life skills, develop healthy relationships and make decisions that are right for them.
Using coaching and strengths-based approaches to help customers overcome barriers and encourage engagement in education, training, employment, voluntary work and sport.
We need people who are
Strong communication, interpersonal, numerical and IT skills.
Experience of carrying out administrative and record-keeping tasks.
An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
The ability to use authority appropriately, deal effectively with challenging situations and challenge unacceptable behaviour.
The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, families, colleagues and partner agencies.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience of working with young people would be advantageous
Enthusiasm for learning, training and professional development.
Please note that an Enhanced DBS check is required for this role and you must be able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays where required.

The ICL team
Our Independent & Community Living team pride themselves on delivering a fantastic service to our customers, providing accommodation-based services to adults and young people across Greater Manchester, and striving to make a real difference in people’s lives!
Forging positive and supportive relationships with our customers is central to what we do, none more than in our Community & Independent Living team, where we provide supported housing and independent living schemes for customers of all ages and with a variety of support needs. Whether our team are on-site 24-hours a day supporting young people living with Autism and ADHD, working at one of our fantastic independent living schemes for older people, or based at our specialist service for people with memory loss and dementia, we ensure our customers are at the heart of the services we provide, supporting them to develop and maintain their independence.
As well as working to support our customers, our team also makes sure the services we run are great places to live and really call ‘home’. Safety is always a priority, and our teams take a proactive role in making sure homes are always safe, secure and well managed. It’s a great feeling for the team knowing they can help to make services better for our customers!
