Casual Project Workers

Hours: Variable hours (Monday –Sunday shift patterns can include late cover and nights at our Salford scheme)
The casual roles will help us to do this by providing support through a person-centred approach to vulnerable adults and young people in our independent living projects and schemes:
In this role, you will be responsible for
Supporting our customers to help them develop independent living skills, helping them to achieve their potential and to engage in activities and the community.
Help to enable customers to develop emotional resilience, overcome barriers and take control of their lives and be involved in all aspects of housing management.
Coach, mentor and provide strengths-based approach
We need people who are/have
Worked in a similar role, in a supported housing environment or relevant social care setting.
Experience of working with vulnerable adults and young people with support needs
Experience of strengths-based support planning and risk assessment.
An enhanced DBS check with Adults and Children is required for this role.
Irwell Valley Homes is a housing association providing affordable homes and services to over 16,000 people across Greater Manchester and employing over 280 colleagues.
We are a charitable, registered provider of social housing and offer homes mainly for social rent, with a small number for affordable rent, market rent and shared ownership. We also provide homes with support for people with dementia, mental health issues, learning and physical disabilities, those who have been made homeless and people affected by domestic abuse.
As well as providing homes, we deliver services and support to customers and work in partnership with specialist organisations to help them sustain their tenancies and get on in life. And we engage with customers to shape services and review our effectiveness.
